Does it make sense to add a guest to a trusted list?

+4 votes
Today I got a message from a cousin who asked to be added to the trusted list of her grandmother. After confirming access, I found that she's still a guest, which implies that she did not agree to the honor code yet.

This feels kind of weird to me, because it may give guests edit rights, even when they have not volunteered.

Guests can't edit any profiles but their own, even if they are on the Trusted List. Guests can even adopt profiles but they can't edit them. After 30 days a Guest membership expires.

Thank you. Will it help in another way, in the sense that she can now see the birth date of her grandmother and verify that she is indeed her's?
Yeah, I would definitely think so. She might be excited and inspired to become a full member!
