What is the ancestral home of the Mnu family?

+9 votes

Latest research has identified their homeland on some very old maps with the labels Unexplored, Unknown and “Ther be Dragons”.  The family seems to be related to the ancient Amazon warriors, but must be a splinter group as there are plenty of husbands, but no fathers.

One researcher has determined that the name can be translated as Unk or even Unknown and on old documents the symbols “?” and < ---- > have been found.  One wag has suggested Maiden name unknown but that is not taken seriously.

From my research, they seem closely related to the Lnu family, and both branches commonly pass down the forename "Fnu."

(Sorry I couldn't resist. I know, I'm a dork.)
