Gender:	Female
Spouse:	Lawrence Clopton
Child:	Leila Inez Clopton

However I was unable to find any more information on that surname. I would recommend if your gonna do a profile that it be placed as Unknown with an "Other Last name as Marue" until more definitive information can be found. The 1920 Census says her parents where born in South Carolina however doesn't show names.

Clementine Workman est1846 looks like Lawrence Clopton's mother I see this on his death certificate and father Dave but do not see Lawrence Clopton listed on any census I see a female named Lucious

Could Lucious be Lawrence miss spelled I see some one has whiteted out the place it would say male or female and it has f for female and more research shows a daughter named Lucy Clopton Cole WHO is she >>Lucy Clopton Cole?

I'm on the library network which gives me access to there version of ancestry.  I however didn't check to see what the surname is listed on other children death index file.

I'd still suggest it be considered unknown

Inez was my grandmother, Maude was her mother. I have been told Maude was full blooded Cherokee Indian. I am trying to trace the heritage as well
