Who were the parents of Roger DeIreland (1190-1208)?

One source says that (John Ireland's) father was John Lackland Plantagenet, but no mother is mentioned.  How do they have two different last names?  His son was Robert DeIreland, born 1208, in Hutt, Lancashire, England (and that is also the death date of John Ireland).

One thing to note is that most of these people didnt have last names... Plantagenet is NOT a last name... it is the house they belonged to... de Ireland is probably refering to the location, not a last name.

Thank you.  That was my suspicion.  I just wanted to be really thorough before I tell the rest of the family that we spring from royalty!
