Can't find that I've actually joined the Quaker project.

I thought I'd joined and I get postings saying people have Quaker ancestry but don't see anything of substance where people are sharing. Is it basically just saying the names of lines who were Quakers and hoping someone else has same connection?  I don't seem to have the badge for the project either. ??  Not sure how this is supposed to help connect people

Well, a badge would help but Wikitree is interactive, i.e. you make your own fun. You work on projects, you use tags, you categorize so people can find things. You keep an eye on G2G, there are challenges if you like competition, etc. etc.

Hi Ann!

According to their project page to join the Quakers project, you need to do the following:

  1. Add quakers to your list of followed tags.
  2. Add an Answer on our welcome thread on G2G and we will get you set up with a badge.
  3. Join our Google Email List.
  4. Add your name with any special areas of interest below:
