Registration is open for the Source-a-Thon! 

It will be going for 72 hours straight, September 30 - October 2, to kick off Family History Month. We're including Monday so that those who are busy on the weekend can still participate.

Hi Betty, not sure if it was clear, but to register and get a badge and bib nr, all you have to do is, instead of adding a comment to this G2G, you will have to add an answer. So if you look right above your first comment, you will see the option '''answer''' click on it and let us know you would like to participate  :D

 If members know how it works they can sometimes add themselves, if they are not certain or don't know how they can post a message including their bib nr at the team page and the team captain/leader or a friendly fellow teammate can enter their names and bib nr to the list, most team leaders will check this G2G every now and then and will invite and add members also ;)

We do profiles from all over but specialize in the Maritime Provinces and New England. There is still plenty of room for more sleuths.

You just need to pick your team and post the team you want to join and you will be added after you are assigned your BIB#.

I'll work on any team but my main interest would be Pennsylvania and the Quakers or around that area. Looking forward to it!

I'm new at this myself but you can pick a team up until they automatically asign you to one just by stating it here. Then the team leader adds you. You can use the chat page immediately though.

I participated last year and had a blast!  I won't have as much time this weekend to play as I did last year on Team Tennessee (where I sourced not one single profile from TN - I spent most of my time sourcing Swedes!).  But I'd like to spend some time getting back into genealogy as I've been sucked into work-foo for most of the last year.
