God only knows how many people were fathered by the various members of ACDC, Whitesnake, and Bon Jovi back in the '80s.

There are paternity tests... see eg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA_paternity_testing

The profile indicates that one of the parties is deceased. This means that a test designed specifically for paternity testing would not be an option.

Jeremy, if this is a living individual who is in the process of trying to identify and prove paternity then it might not be a good idea to publish the names on an open forum. This could upset other family members and make it more difficult to gain acceptance if/when the claim is proven.

You could recommend that he and a close relative of the potential father both test with one of the big companies doing autosomal DNA testing (Ancestry, FTDNA, 23andme). This would clarify their biological relationship.

Googling reveals this is a high-profile individual who has featured in the media. He does look similar facially but a DNA test showing close affinity with a relative of Bon Scott would settle the matter immediately.

If he can sing without pi$$ing off your parents and your neighbors he's not Bon Scott's son...

daves story has been proven to be fake.. he was concieved in January 1967 and says his mum met bon after a valentines gig in Sydney... unfortunately bon was still in perth... bon does have a son and his name is ben and when bon died the scott family argued with angus young and others about money as the scott family refused to allow ben to inherit bons assets... this is a fact...
