Francis Jordan son of Stephen Jordan? Disconnect?

+6 votes
Stephen Jordan (birth est. 1590) immigrated to Ipswich, Massachusetts on the Mary & John.

Francis Jordan (birth est. 1610) immigrated to Ipswich, Massachusetts. He died 1678.

No where in the New England records is a relationship ever mentioned. Anderson Great Migration specifically states there is no known relationship. Stephen's 1667 will leaves his estate to his 2nd wife, and to his son in laws John Andrews and Robert Cross, (husbands of daughters Jane and Anne) and to two grandchildren (children of his daughters). Litigation after Stephen's death never mentions Francis.

I would like to disconnect this relationship once and for all. Anyone see any reason to object to this?

It looks to me like you've done your research and should move ahead with the disconnect.  Particularly since GM's Anderson states there is no known relationship.  Anderson is who we follow in PGM.
