trying to get my family history

Hi so this is what i know: Sinclair Sutherland farmer Thurso ( i believe) born 10/01/1834 then i have Henry Hope born 22-06-1868 rose street thurso but i am lost between that. i have been on scottishpeople.gov site paid to see the documents but cant find the right people on their im a little stuck any help would be great
