I corrected wrong spouse but dynamic and compact remain unchanged, Why? [closed]

Question

I made an error and choose the incorrect profile ID as spouse of another profile instead of putting in the correct profile ID. Now my dynamic tree and compact tree are continuing to display the tree wrong based on my original mistake even though inside of each profile the information is now displaying as being correct. What is up with this? In the past I had to clear cookies and reboot to fix such problems. Now that has no effect. Help?

I suspect those links are indexed, and the indexes will need to be updated -- that can take up to 24 hours to re-index.

The tree charts don't show spouses, they show parents.  Changing the spouse doesn't change the parents of the children.

I stated the problem inaccurately. The man's mother is showing in my tree as the spouse of her own child due to my error. I need Lenora (Carroll) Vroman (Carroll-6690) to show as the spouse of Samuel Elijah Hampton Swygert (Carroll-6690) not as the spouse of Catherine Sullivan (Sullivan-1978) that is the spouse of  Stephen Lawrence Sullivan (Sullivan-1981) on paternal side of my tree. My mistake caused the paternal side for the tree to fall into the maternal side. The tree is totally wrong and my fault. How do I fix this?

My first answer assumed you've already made the corrections.

Otherwise, edit the profiles in question, and on the side, click the link to edit the spouse -- there will be several options available, to add or remove a spouse

Make notes of which profile IDs should be connected to each other, and follow your notes carefully
