Karen Lowe has been helping since before my Wikitree days, when we first discovered we had common roots in the Stone families of Colonial Virginia! I'm Keith Stone from South Georgia. I am a descendant of William and Mary Stone of St Peter's Parish of New Kent County, Virginia. I found their old Farm there and have attended services there, as well as at Slash Church where their son John Stone attended (a grandpa as well). I'm in my sixth year, carefully reconstructing a written history of my Stone line which tried VERY hard to remain anonymous in South Carolina and Tattnall County, Georgia from the 1770s until around 1825! DNA cross referencing with much help from Wikitree and GEDMATCH is helping bridge some. Karen Introduced me to Wikitree a long time back, and has gone the extra mile to 1. Start me a connection to my ancestors and create profiles for us, 2. Help me learn the process, and turn the reins over to me so I could begin to grow my tree, and 3. put up with my limited computer talent... as I am much more comfortable with old school methods and stacks of records all over the living room! Thanks so much, Karen!
