Thank you for sharing this wonderful picture of Herman and his wife Edith with us. You can tell that they are in love. Look how close they are sitting next to each other on the couch.

I think that they are about the same age as my grandparents.  The wallpaper looks the same as what grandma used to have.  Edith's hairstyle is similar to the women's style in grandma's day also.

That was also in the day when the women in early TV wore dresses and high heels to clean house - can you imagine? You know that was not real life. But here we do see Edith in a lovely dress next to her husband.

I want to thank you for sharing this lovely picture with the rest of the family.

God Bless you!

Thanks for selecting my answer, Susan.
They did love each other very much. She wore dresses 90% of the time, not always that nice around the house. She never wore the heels she had one leg that was much shorter and that foot was also much smaller. It was caused by Polio she had as a child.
Thank you Stacie. They seem  so much like my parents. My mom also had polio as a child. She is 85 now and has always had so much trouble with her one leg, but more so now as she ages. Restless leg syndrome and aching all of the time.

I am sorry about your mom.  I know what your mom must have gone through, but I am so glad they had a great love.

My parents were so loving around each other, and I think that is what has helped me with my marriage. Thanks again for sharing this great love story with us.

God Bless you.
