Looking for info on Miller from McNairy co Tennessee.

Question

Hi I'm new here and my name is Cody Robert Miller.

I cannot seem to find out any info on the surname Miller. My millers anyways. I have found plenty out on my mothers side of the family. I am stuck with my grandfather on the Miller side.

My birthday is nov 17 1990

Father is Eric Ray Miller

Mother iris Sandy Murray Miller

Grandfather was Ernest Ray Miller

Great grandfather I think but not sure was named Leland Miller.

Not currently. Just names. Leland Robert Miller was my great grandfather. Father to Ernest Ray Miller.   His brother and sisters names all started with the letter L. His mother I think was something along the lines of Liza? Father was Girt or Gert. Girtie Or Gertie. I found a record showing a Girt and that was him. But that's short for something I believe. I haven't gone back any farther that Girt and his wife. Girt was born in 1892 I think. She was a tad bit older than him being born in 1889. These are estimates. Thank you so much!

Ray Miller, 53, state inspector for Tennessee Highway Department in Bethel Springs, died Tuesday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Casey Funeral Home of Henderson with burial in Finger Cemetery in McNairy County. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Mr. Miller, the husband of Mary Sandra Hysmith Miller, also leaves two sons, Jason Robert Miller and Eric Ray Miller, both of Selmer; his mother, Essie Mae Gray Miller of Henderson, and two grandchildren.
