Connecting with DNA matched relatives

I have discovered that I am probably related to the Kesslers of PA.  We thought my grandmother was the only member of her family to migrate to the U.S.

Does anyone know of a way to connect on WikiTree with Kesslers that have had their DNA tested?

Your profile indicates that you've done a mtDNA test. That could help you connect with people who are related on your maternal-only line, but not with other relatives and ancestors. (For example, it would connect you with other maternal-line relatives of Elisabetha (Kessler) Weber and her mother Maria (Irmler) Kessler, but not with any relatives of Maria's husband Maria Kessler.)

Did you also do an autosomal DNA test? That's what you need to have if you want to go prospecting for relatives among people named Kessler.

With FIND  type the surname you wish to research.

On the resulting page, there is an option to view advanced live data.

Choose DNA.

I looked into the link above by Lance Martin and found a comprehensive table of names which were on the major testing companies. I'd love to have such a list, Lance. What is it's name (is it in the link)? I don't have Kesslers but other names. It's a terrific way to start looking at our cousins lists.

Use the tools available at your testing company and gedmatch to identify any matches you may have with the Kesslers then look up these individuals on Wikitree.

To EveryOne of us with living relatives:  FTDNA.com is offering an autosomal (both genders) test for $59.00 as of yesterday. I'm guessing their offer is still on today.
