Can a leader correct a pre-1500 typo on private profile please? [closed]

Question

This person cannot correct his father's closed profile because he is not pre-1500 certified and the death date typo of 190 has closed it for editing for those not pre-1500.  It should be set to 1990s

Because it is pre-1500 AND a private profile, need a leader to fix please.

Would if I could, Vivienne, but I am asking on behalf of another member.  I am pre-1500 certified, but not on his trusted list.  And he is having trouble navigating WikiTree so he needs a little extra special help.

Maybe if he just added you then temporarily you could fix it and he would also learn how to use the trusted list. Sorry I could not help, was just trying to be useful:-)

I changed it to 1970, so they should be able to get in and edit again.

Thank you Abby!  I think he may have created a duplicate too because of the lock out.  I will advise him on merging if needed :-)
