I am curious as to whether we have statistics on the geographical spread of active contributors, either at country level or continental level.

I suspect someone has them. It would be interesting to see them.

There are some basic demographic/geographic statistics at  https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/wikitree.com.

That is quite interesting. I was expecting the US to dominate, but surely we do have New Zealanders and South Africans and other Europeans. Presumably they are not statistically significant.
These appear to be visitors to the website, not necessarily contributors. It is always interesting to see who comes to our website. It allows us to further tailor our profiles, etc., to attract new members.

While it would be nice to have, I have a hunch that we don't have these demographics on geographical distribution. It is not required that active users enter a location for their residence. In addition, all of that information would be under one level or another of privacy and not accessible for tabulation.
