The ID is at the end of the browser URL when you are on the profile page. It is also the header for the second drop-down menu in the upper right of the profile page.

I got Pocahontas's ID searchig "First Name" = "Pocahontas" and not filling in the "Last Name" field. Then sorting the "Search Results" by "Birth Date". Pocahontas is at the top of the list.

With someone notable like Pocahontas you can also go to a place like wikipedia for more information. Using the dates and names there, come back to wikitree to search for the profile.
