You can add to the profile, above the bio, using the brackets exactly as shown.

{{Irish Roots|location=County Waterford}}

You can also go to this page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:County_Waterford  and find more specific towns within Waterford if you happen to know them.

Here is an example of a more specific location , with slightly different bracketing:

ok thats how you do it thank you
i also know that most of them were buried at Ballin Road cemetary
Adding the town to the county is fine if the town category has been added. For instance, {{Irish Roots|location=County Down|graphic = Photos-806.jpg}} works. {{Irish Roots|location=Dollingstown, Down|graphic = Photos-806.jpg}} does not work.

I looked to see how to add "Dollingstown" to categories in County Down... unsuccessful.

Can you add it for us, Leigh?

I would like to join the Irish counties project, with a particular emphasis on County Kildare. Three of my main ancestor family lines - Hoysted, Bagot and FitzGerald - are active in Athy, co Kildare, with key marriages occurring in the early 1700s.

Thank you
