Eddie, Rose's marriage at 55 puts her birth year at 1866, so then she should be on this census document.  I feel like I keep going in circles with her! One document makes you negate the next!

No offense intended but sometimes ladies don't tell the truth about their age. My grandma Helen Carter King was born in three different years. When she married grampa she was two years older because they eloped without permission from parents. On the census she was three years younger. For her Social Security old age benefits, she finally told the truth LOL

She named her children Catherine and John. Catherine for Levi's mom so maybe John for her father?

Yes, lying about their age would certainly fudge things up!  I find it very odd that Rose at 55 yrs married a man 20 years younger (James Fletcher)  I see that we're related down the line from Levi (Sr).  Levi Jr would have been my grandfathers half brother.  Levi is listed as a brother on my grandfather's obituary.

Rose's father is thought to be John McDougald but I can't find anything on him that confirms it.  Levi's parents are Gabriel Ouellette (Willard) and Catherine Lacelle (Lascelle)  The only document I have and I'm not sure it's her is a baptism record for "Rose" of unknown parents, there was no last name for Rose and there was a John McDougald who was present, though it doesn't mention if he's the father and there is no mother listed either.  As I looked through the pages of this parish register, I saw many other baptisms of babies of unknown parents with this John McDougald who had been present.

Thank you for the response.  I had seen this document as well and crossed it off years ago.  By 1911, she would have had at least 10 children ranging in age from 1-19 yrs old.  The 1 yr old would have been my maternal grandfather John Alexander Willard and the another was Catherine "Cassie" Ouellette, my paternal gr-grandmother.  My parents are 1st cousins 1x removed.
