Don't know what this is about but I can tell you that someone from Misterton Notts (and dying there) having a son born in Somerset and HIS son born in Essex is just bogus. People simply didn't move around that much.
The (both Johns) two parties were ordained ministers with a title Rev.  My Rev. John Owsley, who married a Poyntz, was assigned and had children at Stogursey - Capt.Thomas Owsley -, and Rev. John later received appointment to  Glooston where he died, after having numerous children. Check the internet for Rev. John Owsley and Dorothy Poyntz and discover many extensive references. Refer also to "Our American heritage and Ousley genealogical History, CMS, 1985, 1,300 pages by M. Weddell filed in the Lirary of Congress for documentation.

Was there a proposed merge you object to? I'm sorry, I don't see a question here...

One of the Owsley/Ousley families  was already merged and contained far too many errors to merge with my line..
