Two profiles to merge - both PPP [closed]

Two profiles are ready to merge, but both are PPP. Would someone please remove the PPP from both temporarily so that we can merge them?

The reason they are PPP is there is a great deal of confusion about two different Matthew Fuller's and we are trying to make sure the right spouses, parents and children are in place.

The higher number profile is Hyde-3017

The PPP has been removed from the two profiles you indicated.

Let me know when you would like it placed back on after the merge.

Thanks for doing the work!

Thanks so much, Keith!

It's all set now. I appreciate you removing (and now adding back) the flag

Where is the g2g discussion of which name is the correct last-name-at-birth?  It is strongly recommended that discussion take place before you merge.

The last name of both profiles was Hyde.
Torrey's Marriages has Ide for her name, but is not noted for complete accuracy.
I was unable to even find a Torrey record showing the marriage to Matthew Fuller (not Edward's son) and Frances Hyde/Lyde/Iyde. I was only able to find a marriage record of Matthew (son of Edward) and Frances ______.
If this Matthew and his wife aren't the same as Captain Matthew and his wife, presumably they never left England.  Nobody seems to be saying there were two sets of Matthew + Frances Fullers in New England together.
They are not the same couple.

As I understand the research, both Matthew Fullers were present in Barnstable in the same timeframe. The non-Mayflower Matthew was son of John Fuller.

Internet lore shows a Matthew Fuller marrying Frances Hyde/Lyde/Idye, but I haven't found any sources that show his marriage. I can only find sources of Mayflower-line Matthew Fuller marrying Frances _______.

TAG 61:194-199 is a well-reasoned, sourced article on the two different Matthews.
this is how we get those mismerged profiles where one has to sort and write down and think all weekend to fix - dang
