How to change a last name spelled incorrectly? [closed]

Elizabeth Montogomery-3 should be spelled "Montgomery" without the extra "o."  I am not the profile manager.  I posted a message on the profile asking if the last name could be corrected, but nothing has occurred.  Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

I've gone in and changed her LNAB to the correct spelling.  Thanks for pointing this out.

Try sending a message directly to the profile manager. If there is no response within a reasonable timeframe then the next step would be to file an unresponsive manager report so that action can be taken.

Since this is an Open profile, you could take some giant steps towards fixing this problem by adding the correct spelling as an "Other Last Name" and editing the text section of the profile to spell it correctly. Also you could write a short biography for her (this is currently bare-bones text created when the Gedcom was imported).

It's been almost a year and a half since the misspelling was first noted in a profile comment. If the Profile Manager doesn't respond quickly, I suggest that you ask a leader to fix the misspelling. She's in scope for the Maryland Founders and Settlers project and probably others. We shouldn't need to use an Unresponsive Profile Manager process to fix a typo in an important profile.
Great response Ellen. Why didn't you give it as answer rather than a comment to my thoughts? Your suggestion is much better :)
Your answer was good,  Lynda. I figured I was adding to it. And goodness knows I'm not interested in accumulating more G2G points  (I have plenty...).
