fun new tool! - shared cM to predict relationship

I just saw a neat little tool in DNA Painter making use of Blaine Bettinger's shared cM research: https://dnapainter.com/tools/sharedcm/75

(actually Blaine mentioned it in his recent blog post: https://thegeneticgenealogist.com/2017/10/07/using-shared-matches-a-quick-example/)

Just input the amount of cMs and the tool shows you all the possible relationships that could have that amount of shared cMs.

For me, that beats looking at every block on the chart to see the range for each relationship

Cheers

Shirlea, yes, wonderful, isn't it?!  I love everything that people are doing to assist genetic genealogists these days -- and most of it is free!  Really fabulous!
