Has a Project been started for the MacKenzie Clan, specifically those MacKenzie's that resided in Angus county?

My family tree (such as it is) can be found on MacKenzie-2362

I would like to learn more about Clan MacKenzie in Scotland after the Highland Clearances.  I believe there were many sub-clans throughout our grand Nation. I'm looking to connect with other Scottish MacKenzie's whose ancestry may have hailed from the county Forfarshire (Angus) during the 17th & 18th centuries -- paticularly from Edzell, Maryton, Menmuir, Dunnichen or Dun.  I cannot seem to locate any paternal records before my gr-gr-gr-gr-Gf Colin (b. ca. 1771; d. 11.06.1844)

Hi Alan,

Adding the tags "projects" and "scotland" might help your post be seen by even more of the right people following those tags.

I would have added them for you but only 6 are allowed and I didn't wish to choose surnames for you :)

Good luck and have a super day!
Thanks for the tip, Keith!  I'll fish with these tags for now, then maybe change them from time to time.  I should add Scotland though, aye?  Kia Ora, Alan
