My grandfather was Milton Carl Cox. He disap in 1934.

Question

Milton left his wife, 2 sons and his newborn daughter in April 1934. His car was found abandoned in a shopping centre car park a few days later. No information has surfaced. Please if anyone can give me help, it would be greatly appreciated.

City? Country? Googling tells me it was Bexley, New South Wales, Australia but you have to give us a chance...

As Lynda says, do a DNA test and test any other of his descendants.

Sorry my bad for lack of information. Bexley, NSW Australia is where they lived.

Some records from sites MYHeritage etc, have a date of 1979 when he died but as I dont have full membership, I am unable to contact these people to find out any further information. As for a DNA test, I was adopted at birth to Joyce (Cox) Newey, his daughter.

Have you taken a DNA test Karen? If he left the area of his own free will he may have gone on to start a new family. If so, and any of them have taken a test to try to figure out where their mystery parent or grandparent originated then you could find the answer to your question.
