how do i get my family tree back from Lindsay Coleman i can not go any futher until it is unlocked please i need help

It appears to me that you are profile manager for the WikiTree profiles in your family tree, so it's not clear what the problem is.

If another member is managing WikiTree profiles for some relatives you are interested in, you can submit a request for Trusted List access. Have you tried that?

Hi Mel,

It looks like your connection was already made, and the profile is "open" for improvements and addition of sources.  The profile manager is active and would likely respond quickly to any trusted-list requests.

I would like very much to help... what is the current problem?

thanks Keith Linda has recognized me for aces  to  the profile but i still can not continue adding additional ancestors there were some doubts about the profile on John Jones and his wife i hope i have corrected those and would like to proceed adding more ancestors but can not because it is still protected  by Lindsay  Coleman

thanks Lindsay i have access  i found i need special permission from southern colonies for a ppp file so thanks and sorry about the the confusion

The profile you are trying to add to is project protected. That means you cannot add parents to the profile without discussion with and the concurrence of members of the US Southern Colonies project. Lindsay cannot remove PPP so that you can add parents.

I suggest you add "southern colonies" and "PPP" tags to a question about adding parents to the profile. Be prepared to offer solid proof for the parents. Project protection won't be removed without solid evidence and the agreement of others within the project that the proposed parents are proven.

thanks miss Deb i did not understand that i needed permission from southern colonies to add any thing to my family tree your answer provided that answer i have join southern colonies  and will now proceed  thanks you all for the help it has been an interesting journey and i have learn a lot

If you send me a trusted request I can add you... It's not necessary on most older profiles. Which profile do you need that you are stuck on?
