Is it possible to make sure either a birth or death location must be input when a profile is created? [closed]

Question

There are numerous profiles that have NO birth or death location and I notice that profiles are still being set up now, that have no birth or death location included.  This makes it very difficult for anyone coming along later wanting to help improve the profile and add sources etc and also leads to many bad merges. 

Surely, if someone is setting up a profile they must know or have a rough idea of the country where either the person was born or died. It is better to have for example: England (uncertain) etc.

The requirement to add a source is already in place. If a source is not forthcoming then a statement that says the creator of the profile will provide one within 24 hours goes into the profile under the sources section.

For those profiles that were created before this requirement went into effect, well, there is not much we can do about those - especially if their creators are no longer active. Most of those profiles were created through GEDCOMS.

Well my question has certainly caused a stir, which is good. Anything to get people thinking about adding at least a country where the person might have been born or died or making a note on the profile stating why no country of birth or death is recorded.

The absoute minimum a profile needs is a date of birth or death - even if it is just a guess - and a gender assignment - (male or female) - and a source - and that is ALL. No place or location is required.

I usually guess a year of birth as 20 years before the wedding if I only have a marriage date (and a marriage source) - and that satisfies the requirements. If the year of birth needs to be changed at a later time, then it gets changed.

Sometimes a profile is created based on a sourced marriage, but there may still be some doubt about birth and death dates and locations. Are you suggesting that we should not create the profile or that we should make guesses which may be incorrect? I am aware that it has been suggested that we can guess the country, but even that can be questionable if, for example, the marriage is within a mile or two of the border between England and Scotland, as is the case with several of my direct ancestors.
