Should Anna Goodale changed to Percival Lowell's daughter?

Anna (Goodale) Milward should likely be the child of Percival Lowell-227 instead of John Goodale

In 2014, GeneX researched Anna Goodale's parentage and found sources (shown on her profile) strongly suggesting that she should really be the child of Percival Lowell and his wife, Rebecca. The text in the bio and the sources show how the error came to be, and support for the change.

Is there support for switching her to her PPP father Percival Lowell?

Yes, definitely.  See the the 2 notes at the bottom of Goodale-57, about  Anne as well.  There were ( and are still) multiple John Goodale's.  This information disproving Ann LOWELL Millard Pierce as the daughter of John Goodale is cited as in in both the Great Migration and The Ancestry of Phebe Tilton, and then got added later to Goodale-237, in the dispute section.

I guess, with several dupes, it just did not get cleaned up after all that sorting it out and she remained attached to one (or more?) Goodale ancestors.

Since Ann Lowell Milward Pierce is not any of the John Goodale's daughter, it sounds as if there is no objection to her being removed as daughter.

She will need to have her LNAB changed. There is only one PM on her profile who has been active within the past few months. I'll ask him to weigh in.

Meanwhile, I posted the link to this thread on her Percival Lowell's profile. He is PPP so we will need a project (Magna Carta and/or PGM) to agree.
Done, and I've added Goodale as alternate last name to help avoid new duplicates getting created under surname Goodale.
Thanks William.

Thanks for posting this question for the group to consider.  I did not compile this evidence but I found the images of the probate records posted on https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Goodale-237 to be quite convincing.

"Ann Milward Pierce died November 27, 1690. Her will dated November 4, 1681 and proved 22 February 1691 mentions her brother (in-law) Richard Lowle (Lowell), her daughter Rebecca Thorpe and daughter Elizabeth Pierce and makes her son-in-law, Daniel Pierce Jr., Executor."

I am interested in what others might think.

Best,

I think Norfolk is being confused with the Isle of Wight.  Two different Yarmouths.

At any rate, both Johns are supposed to be the John who died in 1625 and left the widow Elizabeth who emigrated to Newbury, Mass.

But it looks like it must have been a different John who had the kids in Dennington, Suffolk.  Or perhaps they were Robert's kids.

This Suffolk family is all about the Alice Goodall who married Henry Kilham.

Anne (?) (Milward) Peirce has been made the daughter of the wrong John Goodale - it should be [[Goodale-57]] that we should be discussing detaching her from.  Then it makes more sense.
