Looking for any info on; James and Mary Pearce Vice from KY.

Question

James and Mary Pearce Vice of Kentucky USA. Children are: George Vice,Albert Vice, Obert Vice, Mary Elizabeth Vice,Clara Vice Daily, Annie Vice McClean,John D Vice, & Lee Vice. 

 

My great grandmother was Clara and her obituary has Mary listed as  "Nina" But I can not find anything on her still using that name.

Interesting. You have to be careful with this one, as there are several James Vices, about the same age, living in KY, at the same time, and at least another both in Bath County.  You can tell the ones in Bath County apart by their wives and middle initial and age.  The wrong one is James E., and yours is James W.  One was born about 1835 and the other, yours, about 1858 (mistakenly transcribed as 1838 on the 1900 US Census).
