I have an Alexander Caldwell married to a Rebecca Clarey(?) born 1801-1810.....on census records for 1830 in Giles Co Tn and 1840 in Haywood County Tn.Then Alexander dies in 1842 same year their son Benjamin was born......no record for marriage of them as for my and my families who have searched on the Caldwells for over 30 yrs. This is Alexander's second wife.First was Elizabeth Nichols.....we feel that Rebecca might have been her middle name.i am descended from their oldest son one of so very many John Acey Caldwells.Thank you
