Why are citation numbers 3-8 not showing up on Abshire-51?

To be clear, the citations are showing up, and they are numbered in the preview, but #3-8 in the sources section look as though they were denoted by * instead of <ref> </ref>. The <references /> tag is in place.

I deleted a (:) after one of the reference tags that didn't belong.  Now the refs/numbers appear to be displaying properly.  Take a look to see if anything is missing.
