William Jackson Griffith 1774 - parents

Question

From what I've gathered, this has been a dead end for several researching the Griffith line. Has anyone made any breakthroughs?

I currently believe it is:

William Jackson Griffith - Anne Blackiston

William Jackson Griffith - Catherine Sigmond

Benjamin W Griffith - Polly Roberts

William Jackson Griffith - Nancy Knowles

Thomas J Griffith - Harriet Leap

William Austin Griffith - Margaret Fletcher

Albert Paris Griffith - Helen Owens (my grandparents)

I *think* I may have found Benjamin's parents. Every so often I head over to FamilySearch.org and do a search for him. Last night, a member tree popped up with his exact death date. AND PARENTS!!!  Here's a link to it. I contacted the person who posted the information via Ancestry, so I can see how she came about this information. I'm currently trying to find any reference to Benjamin's birth via the power of Google, and back-tracing from England/Wales to get to John. So - it's NOT 100% definite, but it's a heck of a lot more to go on than what we had before!

I know that Jackson's father was Benjamin...I have found a will from Kent Maryland. Unfortunately, the trail ends there. I cannot find Benjamin's father. Sincerely, Brandon Griffith

I also have this line as far back as Benjamin Griffith in Kent, Maryland. I can't find any information past him though, nor even any information on his birth or marriages.
