Or on your own profile, look at 1) the URL address bar, or 2) the top menu

Not a dumb question at all. Gaye. I took me a couple years before I noticed it was lurking up there.  If you know another person's ID, you can delete your ID and add theirs to the URL end, and go to their profile.

Good answers ... you don't even need to click on that link (at least for IE or Firefox) ... just hover your cursor over the link and the URL will appear down in the lower left of the page ...
