My students are having difficulty setting up their accounts.

I have a group of gifted students that are studying genealogy. We're filling out their family tree, but many of them are having so many technical difficulties with their accounts. Wikitree isn't recognizing their email addresses even when they've received a confirmation message. I'm at a loss as to how to help them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Phyllis,

I'm so sorry there have been issues; of course that is not our intention and not the norm.

For the quickest help with accounts please email:

info@wikitree (dot com)

They can help!

And just a side note, they need to be at least 13 years old (by WikiTree policy) or their personal accounts will be deleted.
Hi, Phylllis --

We have a help page that addresses classroom use of WikiTree: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Classroom_Use_of_WikiTree

Thanks!

If they're having trouble logging in, my guess would be that it might be because a shared computer might be saving a password.  Make sure that they are completely logged out, then log back in again and see if that works.
