Check that you have a start <ref> and a stop </ref> for each source reference in the biography section. Then check that under the sources heading you have <references />

To make it easier for yourself in the future try using the C (citation) button at the top of the edit box. That sets up the start and stop for you and places the cursor ready to just paste in your source between them.

I dont know what i did wrong because when i did ..the Sources dont show up on profile except when you click edit

You need to get rid of the <ref> from all your sources.  They are for putting sources in the biography section.

You would use them if you want to reference a certain source to prove a statement in the biography like:  Joe Brown was born in 1850 <ref> place link to birth certificate here and then </ref> with no space between source and tags.  Notice the end tag has a /

Can some one look at this profile to see if I did it right please

Barnes-1879

You are editing while I'm checking the profile and I keep changing my reply, in reference to what I'm seeing at the moment :D  You have deleted the <ref> and it looks fine now

The tags were originally on the statement about your first hand knowledge in the biography, which would make that statement be seen as a reference in the Sources section, but you weren't alive in the 1700's to know this person, so can just delete that statement.
