I see Freeman living in Grove Greenville 1910 this maybe the set that Freeman Lake rd is named for and  they probably worked at the J.P Stevens Plant, A Cotton Mill can you find anything on the two Piedmont Mills they was one in Greenville and one in Anderson both would have been called Piedmont Plant Saulda river, it had a walk bridge that went from Mill to Mill for the town to connect they should be some History of all this... Piedmont town is really a fine place.. I would like to know the History and the original families..

Don Roper that organized this history book was my mothers cousin he was over the community building this is very interesting, I see It mentioned Shiloh United Methodist church but it didn't say David Samuel Spearman's family gave the land I believe that was in he 1816, do they have the local church papers on line anywhere, I got 6 generations in this area and very religious bunch of folks , Cope, Brown, Parker, Blackstone, Spearman, Hooper, Wilson, Taylor, Campbell, Huff, Trotter, Bryson, they more but these are mainly  grandparents that lived in Piedmont names,

Eddie this place Piedmont also had a Trane depot and a Harley Davidson dealer ship, i cant find this information, I have some of the old Rail rd money or stamps somewhere in my old things and was they ever anything big happened around here, I do know one of uncles or grandfather Lewis Huff? got his fingers cut off in a cotton gin and died in shook but I don't know if it was in Piedmont, SC
