Can someone help me write a biogaphy for this person

Question

writing is one of my weak areas, so can someone with good writing skills write a detailed biography for his historical person.

ok i added a few links/sources to his page. Also, i'd be careful about mentioning his 'race' since some sources give conflicting information(including primary sources of his ancestors)

To get things started you could paraphrase from the introduction to the Wikipedia article, citing it as the source, naturally. I would leave out the opinions. Follow the wikitree style guide not to copy and paste.

ok, just paraphrased the beginning part of his wikipedia page- minus opinions and 'drunken indian' characterization quote included on the wikipedia page.
