What is the Connection of my Smiths, Flowers and Minnichs to Hamblen CO TN?

My Smith, Flowers and Minnich families all seem to have some connection to Hamblen Co Tennessee. (Morristown, White Pine and Whitesburg). I was under the assumption the Flowers lived in Alabama, so they must have had relatives in Hamblen Co. I cannot seem to make the connection. Can someone help me?

Sincerely,

Ann Hicks

Not sure.  My branch of the Flowers are from NC and settled in Logan County, KY.

This is what 4 years in answering but just saw.

I am a Flowers by birth and my family came from NC to TN.

They have been in West TN since the 1700's I believe

Quite possible some stopped while crossing state
