hmm, interesting dissertation rather, the guy is obviously among my cousins, just from the list of filles du roy he names in his ancestry.  Lots of the same ones in mine.  I think the main point he tried to make is being missed though.  I don't know how many people do their lineage on the paternal side and ignore or skimp on the maternal side, as if we were born only from men.

It is an interesting article.   I always find it amazing that people can find records back in the 1600s.  It's probably because, in my inexperience, I don't know where to look.  I wish Robert Bérubé every success in his search.  Thank you, Dawn, for bringing this to our attention.
