Does anyone know where I can access the 1892 New York state census records without having a membership in Ancestry, etc ? I'm searching for my great great grandfather Charles Fox, son of Michael Fox and an account by someone else states that he is in these records.

Sometimes, in familysearch, you get state census. After you fill out the search form, go to limit by type and check census and public records. And when you put in his birth year, do a three year range. If born 1880 , do 1879 to 1881.
