I know my James Simmons was from South Carolina and came too Alabama. Hard families too track.

Did anyone follow up with this, I too would be interested, I am currently trying to get more information for my tree (Family Tree Maker)I thought I read somewhere that James M Simmons Sr.  born 1732 was a Native American, I would like further information about this.  I also have interest in Mandoza Simmons if there's any out there to give, this would be my husband's Great Grandfather.
