1911 census england for cole family

Question

Louisa Cole born 18th February 1906(this was found on her death on familysearch) she was born in Auckland, Durham, England. She married Albert Henry Fussell in 1927 pontypridd and passed away in 1979 in Worthing, Sussex so she had certainly moved around but needs help to find her in 1911.

Yes, in pontypridd. Father Wallace Cole 38, miner, mother Lilly 37 siblings Eva Ernest and Albert. Parents from Gloucestershire, married 17 years, 5 children all living.

She is recorded as Lousia! and mistakenly listed as born Pontypridd.

Wallace married Lilly Preddy, Monmouth 1893.

Some techniques you might try to find her:

• Look up her birth on the GRO index to find mother's maiden name
• Find the marriage of her parents
• Look for siblings
• Search the 1911 census for the names you have found above  to see if she is with the family, but lost in transcription errors
• Look at the households of grandparents, aunts and uncles to see if she is on there but has been registered with the name of the head of the household by mistake.

Hi Stephanie,

Looks like she's in Pontypridd by 1911. It's not helped by the fact that they are pretty inconsistent in POB on the Census. This could be because her father was a miner and coal mining was a huge industry in both Pontypridd and County Durham at the time. Seems like he moved where the work was:
