Merger prompt list

Hi,

Not wanting to loose track of merger request suggested, as well as not wanting to keep on prodding profile managers to complete mergers (and it is seemingly the same people who always need prodding), would it not be easier to automate the process? Can wikitree send a seperate weekly list reminding profile managers of merger requests that they need to attend to, preferably with a date after which the profile will be orphaned.

It find the current process cumbersome and it seems that some people only respond to once they have received a reminder from wikitree, after having ignored the person that suggested the mergers and subsequent e-mails.

Regards,

Wynand,

Out of curiosity, do you check to see when the non-responsive profile manager was last on wikitree by looking at their Contributions? I find that most of the nonresponsive PMs have been inactive for months, and so I go directly to request that a profile be opened.
Hi Jillaine,

Yes, I do. Some haven't been active for a while and some have. I think it is a case of the merger requests not being very visible. I think it will help a lot  if there was some icon or another type of reminder that there are still outstanding requests.
Not a bad idea, but not sure its practical. It did take me awhile to figure out how to go to Merges, then click pending and go to screen where I could check waiting on me and my watch list
How does one request that a profile be opened
Bottom of the page of any profile. Small print.
