Joseph Thomas Waller and before...

Question

I can trace with good certainty to Joseph Thomas Waller b1825 in Virginia.  He was married to Priscilla Shores in 1843.  I believe Joseph's father is George Waller 1795-1860 also in Virginia.  George was married to Malinda Lewis.  I can't get confirmation that George is 100% correct, nor can I get beyond him.  George is my dead end.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Let me know what further information I can give.

I believe that the person above may be a sibling of the original person I inquired about.  My person is Joseph Thomas Waller and the person above that you provided Thomas J. Waller.  I can't directly connect them. That's why I'm not sure if George is the father of Joseph.

Thank you!  I can't seem to get beyond George.  I can't find his parents.  I believe George was killed in the Civil War.

Hi there - I'm still stuck at George Waller b1795.  I can't seem to find his parents.  Ancestry lists his father as Benjamin Carter Waller but I can't find where BCW had a son named George.  I'd really appreciate an input a possible direction for me to go.  Thank you!
