I have 2 sibllings - Sarah "Sally" Rumage and her brother John Rumage who are both 3rd Gr-Grandparents to me.  How do I represent them in my family tree?

I'm assuming they aren't married to each other. You would still enter in your ancestors aka your 3rd GG's as you would regularly. Just add them to the same set of parents so they show up as siblings as well. Make sense? :)

Yes, it makes perfect sense and I did do this.  I'm afraid I didn't state my question very well.  I don't know of a way to mark both siblings as direct ancestors and as such, people might not realize they are both dirank eThct ancestors and miss one whole line of descendants.

Any suggestions?  On my Ancestry tree - I precede their names with an asterisk (*), so I know which child is "mine".

Thank you for your help.
But here on WikiTree, we have a single shared tree. So your direct ancestor is also a direct ancestor of potentially hundreds, if not thousands of other people too. If everyone marked their direct ancestors with asterisks on their names, eventually, all the names would have asterisks on them.

Aren't they already represented in your Family Tree?

Looks correct :)
Thanks Dennis-

I guess I was worried b/c these two siblings obviously created different descendancy charts.  As far as I know WikiTree doesn't allow for * in front of names to indicate a direct ancestor, so most people won't know I have double ancestors from this same family.  I guess that was really my question - How can I identify both siblings as my ancestors?
Hi Patty,

One thing that might display what you want would be a descendant chart from their father and or mother.  It would show you descendant from them twice, once from each of the siblings you mentioned.

Another way to indicate ancestors or profiles that are interesting to you is to note it on your personal profile in the biography section.  You could even link to the profiles or to the chart mentioned above.

I hope this is helpful :)
