Do you know if this is the right Isaac SImmons

Name: Isaac Simmons
Death Date: 17 Feb 1865
Interment Date: 17 Feb 1865
Cemetery: Beaufort National Cemetery
Cemetery Address: 1601 Boundary Street Beaufort , SC 29902
Buried At: Section 30 Site 3067
ISAAC Simmons of Greenville died 1863, names only his wife in his will. Her name appears to be Ritta? I will read through Simmons wills and look for a George
OK Thanks I don't know if its the right one Beaufort South Carolina is down at the coast but they was probably down that way fighting in 1863 was he military then? he was almost 100 years old?
Well I guess they may have took him by train to the military cemetery
He was in the 1850 census 80 years old I got that information on his profile
The Isaac will I found probate date May 19 1863. I will search for others in the morning. I used death range 1850 to 1860 because of census. I maybe try 1820 to 1850 in case there be more than one guy same name that area.
OK Thanks
I'm adding 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850 census all of Pickens District, Eastern Division which is same area I believe, and one says Pendleton District but àll this was at one time just called Pendleton District, I don't know knowing about the other census but I believe the first census in Pendleton District was 1790, talk later...

Thanks

Ps. also on the 1840 census of Pickens, s.c it spell's name as Simmods has his birth listed as 0 but looked at it and seen 60 to 70 is marked then also on this census list a John Simmonds 30 to 40 and Andrew Simmonds 20 to 30.  Please let me know if I'm adding anything that you thank is incorrect and I will fix it...

Thanks

I have a James Simmons Sr in my family tree. He was born 1799 in South carolina and died before 1860. I have his descendants profiled but not his ancestors. Could Isaac be his father? The dates of birth would be right if Isaac was born 1770. We would need a 1790 census in South Carolina showing his children to see if one is James but I believe they only gave age ranges for male and female on that one. Maybe a later census for that area would have more detail. James Line ended up in Alabama and his grandsons were in the Civil War. Three Simmons brothers married 3 Cochran sisters.
