I would like to give this bible to any living ancestor, so it stays it the rightful family.  Any help in finding out how to do this. I have tried researching the names in the bible, but have not found any links.  The family name is Adamson

Can you give us some of the names and dates from the bible?
If we are going to help you to find descendants who may be interested in this bible then you will have to give us more information.
I added tags to include broad clues on the places named.
I’ve been unsuccessful establishing any contact with Judi who originally posted in Oct/17 hopeful of finding  living family for the bible she was in possession of.   In the meantime, there has been living family found in the UK descending from John Adamson and Eleanor Wolf.  My hope is to return this bible to the family.    Does anyone on Wikitree know of Judy  McMillen?

Thanks so much and thanks again Alex Elliot for setting up profiles for this family.

Linda
Hi Linda Bell. Sorry you have had trouble connecting with me about the Bible. Here is an email you can contact me at so we can make arrangements to get the Bible to the family. jellibelli@ymail.com
Thank you so much Judi!  This is wonderful news.  I’ll be in touch with the family and you will be able to be clear of their relationship and make a plan for this previous peice of history to be with them for future generations to come.

Cheers and thank you again,

Linda.

Hi Judi,

Thank you for reaching out to Wikitree in hopes of finding the descending Family for the bible and would be wonderful to be able to find them .  At this time there  are millions who are researching their families, the chances are excellent to find the correct family. The more information you can sent us as to dates, surnames and locations would help very much.

Thanks again Judi for taking the time to send this post.

Thank you for sharing. I added John Adamson to the tree (Adamson-2010) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Adamson-2010# and started adding his children. So far there is no connection but if anyone wants to help work our way down the tree we will hopefully find someone :)
