I have a very old family bible that belonged to a distant relative by marriage.

Question

I would like to give this bible to any living ancestor, so it stays it the rightful family.  Any help in finding out how to do this. I have tried researching the names in the bible, but have not found any links.  The family name is Adamson

I’ve been unsuccessful establishing any contact with Judi who originally posted in Oct/17 hopeful of finding  living family for the bible she was in possession of.   In the meantime, there has been living family found in the UK descending from John Adamson and Eleanor Wolf.  My hope is to return this bible to the family.    Does anyone on Wikitree know of Judy  McMillen?

Wife: Elizabeth Wolf Born April 4, 1844 at Fawdon Square

Children: Robert born 10/18/1864 at Fawdon Square, William born 6/18/1866 St Clair, Ill, Alice born 3/21/1869 Springfield junction, Ill, John Henry born 3/12/1871 in Springfield Junction, Ill, Mary Elizabeth born 5/22/1873 in Springfield Junction, Ill, Emma Jane born 8/31/1875 in Springfield Junction, Ill, Victoria born 10/30/1877 in Springfield Junction, Rose Ann and Lily May (twins)  born 9/24/1879 at Huntsville Randolph County Misssouri.   It also shows the deaths of:

Victoria 12/6/1877 in Springfield Junction, Lily May 7/24/1880 in Huntsville and the mother, Elizabeth died 1/5/1887

Thank you for sharing. I added John Adamson to the tree (Adamson-2010) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Adamson-2010# and started adding his children. So far there is no connection but if anyone wants to help work our way down the tree we will hopefully find someone :)
