One way to find out is

There are 70 Snyder families in the 1810 census for Northampton County. On the census form, look for the families with son under ten years of age.

Then check these same families in 1820 to see if a son of the under 16 age range exists. If not, the 1810 son died before 1820.

After making a list of possibles, look for wills and land records for the men and see if you can find a son John named in their records.
