Pleasant family tree

I've checked some of the following in the Pleasant ancestry already listed:

John, John II, John III, and James. My cousin sent me a breakdown of our relatives and the dates and some of the wives don't match. Another cousin is preparing some info too on the Pleasants and I have some of it. My cousin from NY sent me a guide to the Pleasant Famiy papers, 1745-1898. It comes from the Library of Virginia in Richmond. I have John III from 1697-1771 (married 3 times). John II (1671-1714) was the son of John and Jane Pleasant. John II married Dorothy Cary.

Would you have problems with any of these being addded?  How can there be two sets of John II and II and IV? I'm assuming it can and none of these overlap. Maybe I need to verify with the profile managers inputs to see if any coincide.

Hi Timothy, It is important to collaborate with the profile manager first before making changes to a profile. Always check to see if the spouse, siblings, Children, locations and dates are the same. Always add sources to confirm any changes you make and to all profiles you create. When you ask a question please include a link or the WIKITree ID for the profile(s) your asking about.

The number 1.  and 2. of the WikiTree Honor Code is;

  1. We collaborate. When we share ancestors we work together on the same ancestor profiles.
  2. We care about accuracy. We're always aiming to improve upon our worldwide family tree and fix mistakes.
